A bit of a lucky/unlucky dip today. The main features are a random selection of sea songs and “The Grimsby Lads”, so I suppose it's a salty dog folk day. It's Thursday, so I'll be catching up on my Italian. And the year is 1960. The beginning of a musical transition period that I'm rather fond of — the one during which 50s Jazz and R&B morphed into 60s pop and soul.
