Wednesdays are German days. Which is not great, because I haven't really started learning the language properly. And because my German language music collection is pretty naff. Starting it with 60s pop seemed like a 'safe' move. But it turns out that German charts of that period were dominated by anglophone imports and local schlock. So I'll be having to stick my Oompah up my jumper for a while. Never mind, there's always Chilean Nueva Ola from Alan Y Sus Bates. And there are some great songs about Rome — mostly not in this list :-)
