Roberta Mazzoni, Dundee

The bulk of today's offering is Scots. The result of putting together a list of songs about the city of Dundee with the featured song “Bonnie Wee Jeanie McCall”. I think my father would play the latter from time to time. McCall was his middle name and the reference to dancing at “The Co-operative Hall” no doubt had some resonance. Dundee is a city that I've always liked. This nod to it came from the accidental discovery that Matt McGinn seems to have had a soft spot for it. There's nothing really outstanding to make me pick Roberta Mazzoni, just some passable Italpop from the mid-60s. It's Dutch Monday.
