There's a Spanish flavour to today's list, with the featured artists being Aparcoa and the featured song being “Córdoba” . Aparcoa were one of the chief exponents of Nueva Canción Chilena and particularly noted for their collaboration with Pablo Neruda. I just love their combinations of harmony and unison singing. And the fact that I can use their music interchangeably as background, for improving my Spanish, or just to listen to attentively. As ever, for the period, 1970 is largely an excuse to indulge in a bit of soul. While the Dutch set gets in, because it's Monday.
