Johnny Nash's 1972 hit is one on my absolute all-time favourites, although Jimmy Cliff's version for the film “The Harder They Come” is what sticks in my memory most. Today I discovered that Cliff's version wasn't released until 1993, which suggests that I can't “see clearly” into my memory. I guess I'll need to skim through the film again, to see if it was there at all. Or, maybe Nash's version was there? Lize Marke features for some Dutch listening practice. 1961 provides a dose of R&B from my favourite period. The pick from a folky English Sunday is a family favourite “Roamin In The Gloamin”.
