Concierto de Aranjuez, Vanna Scotti

The centre-piece of today's list is “Concierto De Aranjuez” — arguably one of the most touching pieces of music ever written. All three parts of the definitive interpretation by Paco De Lucía are featured. Although, I'm exceedingly partial to brass renditions, of which there are a few here. I'm only sorry that I couldn't find a YouTube link for the Carlton Main Frickley Colliery version featuring Jane Freeman on Flugelhorn. But there will be plenty of comparable versions in future, from the likes of Grimethorpe Colliery. Vanna Scotti provides support with some decent early 60s Italpop. But I'd like to draw attention to some outstanding R&B in the 1954 and English Sunday lists.
