I try not to repeat an artist or theme feature within a month, so I was a bit surprised to find that Jacques Brel hasn't had the spotlight for a while. Apologies for the repeat of a couple of tracks though. “Amsterdam” is probably worth it. Even if 2 playings in 2 days for “Il neige sur Liège” is probably a bit excessive. “Le métèque” is a song worth hearing in several forms. And simply rendering its title in Greek script is a fun test for the blog's unicode — Ο μέτοικος”. The 1968 selection is semi-random. And it's German Wednesday, so Hannes Wader and Helmut Debus get a few slots.
