  1. Late start
  2. Vaccine booster trip
  3. Visit to Martyn and Angie
  4. Time spent reorganising checklists
  5. Junk food and wine
  6. Railway maintenance and bus breakdown

Reduced productivity was down to:

  1. ⅓ late start
  2. ⅓ external factors
  3. ⅓ poor discipline

The first 2, plus excessive lists, contributed to the latter. But their effects could have been resisted — with greater routine-keeping effort

Lessons:

  1. Simplify lists
  2. Get back to routine immediately — after diversions
  3. Go to bed on time — no new activity after 10pm
