Stafke Fabri, Angel of the Morning

Stafke Fabri — probably my favourite singer from one of my favourite cities. What is it that I find so attractive about rough, tough, port cities? I'm not entirely sure. But I do know three things about Antwerp that always come to mind, whenever I listen to Stafke Fabri — the jovial and civilised café society, the utterly enchanting railway station, and the 'second city chip' on it's shoulder. PP Arnold's “Angel of the Morning” is quintessential 60s pop for many Brits. Today's list is a reminder that the world is bigger than central London. 1954 provides today's dose of pure R&B. And it's Italian Thursday.
