Scottish Folk, Eenzaam zonder jou

Scottish Folk is my first music love. I was born in the country and my entire childhood was hugged by the sound of my father playing it on his accordion. Of course, folk wasn't the only music he played, nor even his greatest musical love — that would be Boogie Woogie piano. But it was a constant. And it's the only type of music that I've sung consistently. “Eenzaam zonder jou” — Elvis's “Another Lonely Night” — appears because I loved it from the moment I stumbled over Will Tura's version, while first looking for Belgian 60s pop. It gets this feature, simply because it's among the most covered track ever, in Dutch.
